Paul Damian Hogan is a Tennessee-born composer based in Portland Oregon. He spent two decades in New York City writing for chamber ensembles, playing in bands and sharpening his craft as a composer for picture. Aside from making his own solo records, he scores narrative and documentary films, earning an Emmy nomination for his soundtrack for Birders: The Central Park Effect. He has collaborated with choreographer Stefanie Batten-Bland on works premiered at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Next Wave Festival, PEAK Performances, and La Mama Moves Dance Festival. His music is featured in artworks in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum and MOMA. He also creates songs for sync licensing under a variety of monikers.
